A colony PCR was carried out to check if the insert
Check if insert has the correct size.
None of the colonies had the right insert.

A few colonies were on the transformation plate from 31-7-15. Colony PCR was done with pSB1C3 primers. PCR product was checked on a 1% agarose gel with 1:50000 SERVA DNA Stain G. No bands were detected.
