Digestion is performed to prepare DNA for ligation. Psalt and BBa_K823023 are digested to ligate the salt inducible promotor into a backbone.

The salt promotor and backbone are digested with EcoRI and PstI. After digestion, product was purified using PCR purification kit to get rid of enzymes.
