Transformation was done to introduce the ligated plasmid DNA into E. coli.
To create a salt inducible promotor.
Transformation was not successful.
Heat shock transformation

Competent E. coli were transformed with 10 µL ligation product and plated on LB with ampicillin. Transformation failed. No white colonies visible on plate.
