Prof. dr. O. P. Kuipers
Oscar is the driving force behind iGEM Groningen and a dedicated supervisor for each iGEM Groningen team. Every year he rallies a dozen new students and provides them with guidence and some advice to develop an amazing project.
Prof. dr. J. W. Veening
Jan-Willem Veening has years of experience in molecular biology research. His knowledge about molecular genetics and contacts outside the university were of great help during our project.
Prof. dr. B. Jayawardhana
Bayu supervised our modelling team and gave us much needed advice from the viewpoint of a non-biologist. Along with his great ideas about our Blue Bio Energy project, he was a fantastic supervisor.
Dr. Elrike Frenzel
For the first time Elrike participated as a supervisor for iGEM Groningen. With a lot of knowledge and background she helped us with every aspect of our project.
Renske van Raaphorst
Renske participated in the 2012 iGEM Groningen team which became world champion in the iGEM 2012 competition. This year she provided us with advice for our project and laboratory work with the perspective of a winner.
Clement Gallay
Clement was the funny supervisor and kept the team spirit going when our lab work didn't go well. He also provided wisdom, which was occasionally needed.
Prof. Dr. Paulo C. Telles de Souza
Paulo was the driving force behind our modelling project. With his knowledge, our project became stronger and gave insights in future work.
