Team

We are METU High School Team. This is our second year in iGEM and we have the spice for the competition like we had last year. We had the support of Middle East Technical University. We are really grateful to them because it would be impossible for us to complete our project without them. We can say that we are yearn for synthetic biology and experiments. Our moto is to find fresh ideas every year. That’s why this year our team consist of new members. Of course we had some concerns about spending our summer in lab but now none of us has regrets about this decision. After our team came together our first aim was to find a problem which is a huge issue for mankind. As soon as we decided to our project topic we started to congregate on Friday afternoons after school. Our second aim was to find a solution to this problem thats why we searched countless articles for 3 moths. To improve our project we get in contact with professors who has researches about our project topic. Also, in order to explore other sides of the maintopic we split up two groups. While we were deciding our topic we consider the feasibility of it. Now, when you look our project you can see it easily that it is a developable project and also it can be continued after this competition.
