About us

Abhinaya

Abhinaya Anandamurugan is 26 years old and comes from India. She is currently studying Molecular Bioengineering at the TU Dresden. She finished her Bachelors in Biotechnology in 2010 from Anna University, Chennai, India. She did her Bachelor thesis at M.S. Swaminathan Research foundation, Chennai on analyzing "Zinc Solubilizing Bacteria involved in gluconic acid production". She worked 4 years before starting the Master's and she is currently working at the Bioinnovation Zentrum Dresden.

Carl

Carl is a 26 year old student from Germany. He studies Bioprocess Engineering at the TU Dresden. He started in 2010 and will finish his studies in 2016 with a Diplom in engineering. He did an internship at Bayer CropScience where he wrote a thesis on the biocatalysis of a D-aminoacide oxidase. He speaks English and German fluent and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
