Making plates
Preparing plates with different media and carriers to grow BD 1807 (abrB KO) biofilms on. LB and msGG were used as media. Nylon and Whatman paper were used as carriers.
To knock out abrB in Bacillus subtilis strains to obtain a more rigid biofilm. AbrB suppresses biofilm formation. Knocking out AbrB should result in a more rigid biofilm.
Preparations succeeded.
