NOISE Our Parts a lil summary of the different parts we wanna submit Measurement & Modeling talk a lil about stuff we measured/math model here. 4 components of math model (each will have an icon: Data, analysis, another model, case study) integrated/plasmid parameters and stuff. explain from where applying our model to someone else's stuff Human Practices Our Human Practices effort was a multi-faceted outreach approach to science literacy, focusing specifically on spreading a basic understanding of synthetic biology to the general public. We collaborated with the Smithsonian Institution, Williamsburg James City County School System, Bruton Parish High School, Teach for America, Fulbright U.S. Student Program, College Partnership for Kids, William and Mary Center for Gifted Education, Girl Scouts of America, Robotics First Lego League, Learning Fun School, and King Solomon to host 9 educational Synthetic Biology workshops for students all ages and develop a curriculum of 24 activities designed to provide teachers with low-cost opportunities to spread knowledge of Synthetic Biology to new populations. Collaboration 3Collaboration is a way to research faster, more efficiently, and more comprehensively. We met and exceeded iGEM's collaboration requirements by collaborating with other researchers in three main ways: creating a pen pal program to connect teams with similar projects, participating in the interlab measurement study, and interviewing the general public to provide data to future teams about how to communicate synthetic biology. We also collaborated on individual research projects with iGEM teams from University of Georgia, University of Maryland, and Cambridge. Team a short blurb about our team here.
