HQ/Acceptance Email

Welcome to iGEM 2015!

Congratulations, your team application has been reviewed and accepted for participation in iGEM 2015.

A summer of hard work, intense learning, and accomplishment is ahead. In the fall, we will gather at the Giant Jamboree in Boston from September 24 to 28 to celebrate. All the collegiate and high school teams are invited to attend. For details, see https://2015.igem.org/Giant_Jamboree.

For news and more details about iGEM see https://2015.igem.org -- the 2015 website includes the calendar, requirements, judging criteria, meetups, and more. Be sure to stay up to date and visit the website often. Watch for our monthly newsletters. (You may need to check your spam folder)

The next step is to assemble your team roster and approve user accounts for your team's instructors and students. All members of your team will need approved user accounts to be able to use the iGEM websites.

Team members can join your team in two ways:

1. They can create a user account and then ask to join your team. If they do this, you or one of your team's instructor must go to your team page and accept or reject their application. You may have team members waiting for your approval right now, so please check your team page.

2. Alternatively, you can give them a team membership code that they can use when they ask to join the team. You will find that code on your iGEM team page.

We have begun manufacturing the 2015 DNA distribution kit, which will be 100% sequence confirmed samples. Stay tuned to parts.igem.org for more.
