Protocol for the transformation of Bacillus subtilis.

Plating Bacillus subtilis
Day 1: streak out Bacillus subtilis strain on a plate and incubate plate overnight at 37 ℃.
Inoculating Bacillus subtilis
Day 2: pick a colony from the plate and add it to 2 mL of MC completed.
Place the mixture in 37 ℃ incubator for 5 hours.
Afterwards, mix 400 µL of culture with 1 µL DNA in a 15 mL tube. Close the tube loosely.
Let these bacteria grow for 2 hours at 37℃.
Plating transformed Bacillus subtilis
Lastly, plate the complete content of culture on selective antibiotic plates and incubate at 37℃ overnight
