Transformation of chemically competent E. coli cells
Back to Protocols
Add 1 µl of plasmid or 5 µl of Ligation reaction to chemically competent E. coli cells
Incubate on ice for 30 minutes
Heatshock: 42 °C for 45 seconds, 2 minutes on ice
Add 300 µl LB- Media and incubate at 37 °C shaking at 220 rpm for 1 hour
Plate on LB plates containing the appropriate antibiotic and incubate at 37 °C overnight.
