Hello! We are the iGEM team for the University of York

University of York is located in North Yorkshire, England.

Our project is aiming to exploit the natural abilities of bacteria in order to remove phosphate from waste water. This is with the goal of preventing the detrimental effects of phosphate pollution on the environment with greater efficiency and lower cost than existing waste water treatment methods.
