Our target is to develop antimicrobial peptides into a potential material of wound dressing. Our bacteria will express two kinds of antimicrobial peptides: Epinecidin-1 and Signiferin . Signiferin have the great ability to kill Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus that had already proved by 2013 iGEM team:TU-Delft. Epinecidin-1 has the ability to help wounds healing. We let Ecoli to express them into culture medium and purified it to make wound dressing. | Our target is to develop antimicrobial peptides into a potential material of wound dressing.
