Introduction
iGEM Groningen 2015 wants to harness the energy of salinity, often called ‘Blue Energy’. Blue Energy uses ion exchange membranes to separate the sodium and chloride found in sea water. These ion exchange membranes are expensive and unreliable. We want to use bacteria to create a living membrane that can repair itself. For more information contact contact@igemgroningen.com.
