| − | <p>Our project is bio metal detector, as you can see from the name, we use E-coli to detect the metal components of the objects. We use different promoter on different metal that promote different DNA sequences, and then produce proteins with various color. And we can distinguish the metal in the specimen by the color it appears.

| − | We decide to make this as a product, with the whole set of substrate, modified E-coli with in a plastic box. This make our products very easy to use. Users just only put the sample they want to test in the box and wait to observe. Our products can test samples in both liquid and solid, but user needs to make big solids sample into powder.
