COLLABORATIONS
This year the collaboration of our team with SCU_China team and UESTC-software team was very smoothly as expected. We helped each other from the aspects of experimental design, experiment results verification and software to reach the iGEM spirit as resource sharing. The following is a detailed description.
In 2015 iGEM,we UESTC teams helped SCU_China to finish the prediction and experimental demonstration about RBS in their project.
First about the prediction
CHINA_CD_UESTC offered technology and method. The software team UESTC_Software program and finish the software. The two teams from UESTC helped SCU_China to create a software named SD Finder in helping user predict the ORF and SD sequence of DNA sequence.
After finishing the prediction
We CHINA_CD_UESTC helped SCU_China to design the experiment and finish the demonstration. In order to find the unknown RBS position and standard it , we designed this experiment.
1. Demonstration of RBS located in nifD up stream
2. Mutant demonstration of RBS located in nifD up stream
3. Demonstration of RBS located in nifK up stream
4. Mutant demonstration of RBS located in nifK up stream
