Collaborations
iGEM Aix Marseile
We helped the iGEM team of Aix Marseille out with their survey on chewing gum. They have awarded us with a gold medal badge because we have entered more than 30 surveys.

iGEM TU Delft

The iGEM team of the TU Delft used their 3D printer to create an artificial biofilm of our B. Subtilis 3610 ComI in alginate. We tested this layer in our set up to see if this could be used in our project. The layer was unfortunately not able to block water and we could not measure any selectivity.

iGEM Linkoping

This iGEM team asked us to sing a part of a iGEM song for them which would be used to create a iGEM song with all the participating teams. The result should be visible on the jamboree.

Mexico

TecCEM HS asked for our help since they had problems getting their ordered DNA through customs. We ordered their DNA sequence for ferritin at IDT and ligated into the pSB1C3 backbone which we then transformed into E. coli. Their construct has an IPTG inducible promotor which we tested by IPTG induction. The SDS-page gel shows that the protein is expressed when adding IPTG. This confirms that the construct works.
