Part Documentation

This year we have made 4 BioBricks, as documented in the table below. Our BioBricks comprise of both a trio of functional amyloid-forming parts and Cytochrome b₅₆₂ on its own. We hope that in the future, other teams will be able to expand upon our collection as more novel uses for functional amyloid are envisaged.

-<p>This year we have made 4 BioBricks, as documented in the table below. Our BioBricks are the start of a new collection of functional amyloid-forming parts. This will provide a foundation for development of functional amyloid parts with a wide spectrum of uses and begin to promote positive associations for the use of amyloid as a unique material. The collection currently consists of three parts including Envirowire, csgA-Sup35-NM, and Sup35p. We hope that the collection will expand as future teams envisage novel uses for functional amyloid. </p>
