Team Established

USTC-Software team established, everyone was introduced to the others.

First Meeting

We divided the whole team into four groups: Poject Group, Front-end Group, Back-end Group, Design Group.

Second Meeting

Every group gived a report based on the research about previous teams. Design group gived a plan for furture work like the propaganda products what we would need to do including design for front-end, design for wiki, team logo, brochure, poster and so on. Back-end group tried to crawl data from Registry of Standard Biological Parts and classify them.

Third Meeting

Front-end group should be familiar with 2014 USTC-Software wiki and try to rewrite their wiki and acquaint with HTML&CSS&JavaScript. Back-end group should read Biopano codes in GitHub and learn Python in the progress. Design group tried to design a logo related to iGEM or Synthetic Biology. Project group should read more materials like books, paper and wiki to survey Synthetic Biology and previous projects.

Fourth Meeting

Because of Qingming Festival, some members gone back home. As a result, the meeting is just a communication about the iGEM and the project and progress.

Fifth Meeting

We adjusted the meeting style. Previously, we have the entire conference, that is, when one person introduced his idea, the others listened to him. Now, every group had 5-10 minutes to display what they did. Then, the group had their own meeting to discuss the problems and try to solve them.

Sixth Meeting

Introduce NCTU Meetup, CCiC and Human Practice to members. Collect members information who were willing to attend meetups. Team manager arranged materials for meetups.

Seventh Meeting

Project group, Front-end group and Back-end group discussed together. Front-end and Back-end groups evaluated Project group’s ideas in the possibility of technology.

Eighth Meeting

Put forward elementary idea about project. Publish the standard for selecting memebers for the Giant Jamboree and collect the suggestions from everyone in USTC-Software.

Huamn Practice

Our Human Practice in Technological activity week.

Ninth Meeting

Lingyuan Ji promoted an ODE method for simulating biological system. Add some details for standard for selecting members for the Giant Jamboree.

Tenth Meeting

Select members for the Giant Jamboree by poll. Every group gave a presentation about their work and communication among group members and communication with other groups.

Eleventh Meeting

Change meeting place. Publish final members list for the Giant Jamboree. Every group gave their presentations. Read Systems Bioinformatics written by Gil Alterovitz and Marco F. Ramoni together and try to know the principles of BioJADE

Twelveth Meeting

Continue study the BioJADE and share idea with others. Front-end and Back-end addressed programming problems by communication among the group.

Thirteenth Meeting

Tianyi Cui introduced 2014 SYSU-Software project. Ziyu Wu introduced the function and advantage of our software. Prepare materials for visa.

Embellish summer working place. Summer began!

Xinan Chen, Ziyu Wu, Tianyi Cui, Xiaofan Yuan represented USTC-Software to attend NCTU Meetup. We shared our project with other teams.
