Project description

In our project we have constructed a method for in vitro screening of peptide aptamer/target protein-interactions. The method is based on a bacterial two-hybrid system, which will induce transcription of RFP, when there is a positive interaction between the randomly generated peptide aptamer and the target protein. We also propose a process design for mass production.

PAST is the future

For decades aptamers have been known as potential rivals of antibodies. Despite this it seems that many researchers still use traditionally produced monoclonal antibodies. Project description
