Being a Judge

Judging at the iGEM Giant Jamboree is a challenging yet rewarding experience. Judges are asked to evaluate up to 12 teams during the event, which includes scoring the following: medal criteria, team wikis, team presentations and posters, and special awards.

The iGEM Safety Committee is a group of experts in biosafety, biosecurity, and risk assessment. Its members come from diverse areas of industry, academia, and government.
