<p> As part of human practises we decided to perform two tasks. First, we decided to have a discussion with a doctor who specialises in infectious diseases so that we could get a closer look at the real world situation regarding antibiotic resistance. Dr. Ramasubramanian, a senior consultant in Infectious Diseases, HIV, Tropical Medicine and Travel Medicine at Apollo Hospitals. After his under-graduation at the Madras Medical College and a post graduation in Internal Medicine from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh he trained in UK and the USA in infectious diseases. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow and also holds Diplomas in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene and in Genito-Urinary Medicine from London. He specialises in Infection Control, HIV medicine, Tropical Infections and Travel Health.</p>
