Part Collection
The system is highly modular and therefore, allows us to add any wanted protein to an other one. By submitting this part collection to the BioBrick registry we open up many possibilities for future teams. Providing one SpyTag and many SpyCatchers gives us the possibility to fuse different proteins.
In our design we use those parts to generate a functionalized surface with a very high surface to volume ratio. This allows us to catalyze enzymatic reactions.
