Bowen Gong - Team Leader & Developer
As the leader in our team, I'm responsible for the whole project, including the developement of back end(search, simulation, recommendations and etc.) and server maintenance. Wiki is also part of my job. This is the second year for joining an iGEM competition, I'm enjoying the fun of being in iGEM.
Ron Duan - Developer
I'm Duan Rong,from HFUT in China.Coding can help me to relax.In my team, I'm a algorithm engineer. I design some algorithm to deal other teams' abstract and help my team to show you a beautiful data picture. In fact, there are so many teams' abstract,obviously, I didn't read all of them. My friends and I read some and tagged some key words. Next, I wrote a program to learn what we did and computer help us to finish all of the abstract.The result is good enough.You will find computer is amazing!
Rexar Zhang- Designer
As a UI designer in our team, I’m responsible for designing the UI of BioDesigner ,including interaction design and visual design. I need considering usability and user experience in any time, to make sure that the user have a comfortable felling during the design process. Of cause, our Logo, poster, banner, Team T-shirt and WiKi is also my responsibility. By the way, this is my first time to take part in iGEM.
Bob Pang - QA & Database Developer
I am a student of Hefei University of Technology and majoring in software Engineering. In my spare time ,I’d like to watching American TV Series. And I’m glad to have the opportunity to attend this competition. In our team, my main job is consist of the following parts. First is design and maintain the Database. The next one Is make the version control part of our background. Also I do unit testing for most of the functions in our system.
Ray Sun - Developer & QA
I am responsible for the parts recommended algorithm design, partial unit testing and recommending chain according to user already given BioBrick.About the parts recommended algorithmdesign, We achieve this function by using apriori algorithm.About the unit testing, using Djanjo own unit testing framework and path coverag. About recommending chain according to user already given BioBrick. We achieve this function by using markov algorithm.
Bing Zhang - Front end Developer
I used the html5 and css3 to layout and style the page. In order to adapt to different screen pages, I used media queries to change some styles. I also introduced bootstrap to achieve modal boxes and other effects. I mainly use JavaScript to achieve some special effects, page interaction with the background to drag effect asynchronous and jqueryUI to make web pages.
Huitong Ding - Human Practice
As a team member, I participated in parts of project. I mainly responsible for the Human Practice After hard working for the competition of iGEM_2015, I generated enthusiasm for Synthetic Biology. I hopes to continue such work in his future studies.
