Bug Shoo - an innovator repellent
The Bug shoo is the representation of our project for society.
It is the way that our team designed a product, manufactured with the tools of synthetic biology, which may be effective in combating diseases transmitted by insect vectors, such as dengue. Its active ingredient is d-limonene, a gift terpene in cítrricas fruits and repellent action. Its production will be performed by plasmolisadas and bacteria that have been genetically programmed for that perform this function.
