Sequences for the Chromate-detector

Detecting Chromate

This set of biobricks is based on an operon of ochrobactrum tritici, conferring resistance against Cr(VI). The Beijing institute of Biotechnology already submitted a biobrick based on this operon in 2013, BBa_K1058008 (See Figure 1). We used this brick, broke it down to its constituent parts, and reassembled it in a different way (See Figure 2).

These 2 biobricks are transformed into one cell in order to rebuild a chromate sensor.
