AlumniGEM Mentorship Program

Home Teams Mentors Coordinators

Through the AlumniGEM mentorship program, teams will be guided by two mentors throughout the summer on processes such as designing an experiment, creating a project abstract, developing a team wiki, and submitting a BioBrick. They will have meetings with their mentors at least once a month to learn these various aspects of iGEM and have their questions answered.

To further expand the number of teams involved in iGEM, new teams are especially encouraged to apply. Teams that have traditionally not done well in past competitions are also encouraged.
