AlumniGEM/Mentorship/Mentors
AlumniGEM Mentorship ProgramGreat mentorship is the key to success in iGEM. Mentors will be expected to meet with their teams at least once per month to guide them through the process of experimental design, wiki creation, and part submission. Two mentors will work together to advise each of the six selected teams, and they will be supported by a mentorship program coordinator. If you are interested in gaining experience teaching, giving back to the iGEM community, or expanding your iGEM contact network, apply to be a mentor for iGEM 2015! All mentors must have at least 2 years of experience in iGEM. Potential mentors will be evaluated based on their leadership abilities within their respective teams and their experience in mentoring others within iGEM or in other contexts. Anyone with at least two years of iGEM experience as a participant or team advisor is encouraged to apply. |
