Team Attributions

Major Attribution

  • MSc. Daniel Georgiev PhD is the king of vector graphic, but that is not his most valuable quality. As our leader he keeps the great mood in the lab and his accurate questions leads everyone to the result without any need for explanation.

Module 1

Individuals responsible for building the synthetic haploid strains:

Responsible students

  • Hynek Kasl

Advisors

  • Tereza Puchrová

Module 2

The people behind orthogonal signals:

Responsible students

  • Anna Sosnová was responsible for cloning, BioBrick construction and validation of the constructed parts.
  • Jan Bejvl asisted with experiments.
  • Jiří Louda performed search of provided literature.

Advisors

  • Pavel Zach provided literature and advices regarding chimeric receptors and synthetic pheromones.
  • Kateřina Pěchotová helped with the experimental setups.

Module 3

The formation behind location tags.

Responsible students

  • Martin Cienciala
  • Veronika Kolejaková

Modeling

Responsible students

  • Hynek Kasl is the person in charge of mathematical modeling.

Microfluidics

The people who realized microfludic experiments:

Responsible students

  • Martin Ciencala executed microfluidic experiments.
  • Václav Pelíšek and Jiří Louda fabricated the microfludic chips.

Advisors

  • Pavel Fikar tought students the basics of microfludics and showed them how to use specialized equipment.

Software

The party responsible for improving the CeCe simulator by extensions needed for our project.

Responsible students

  • Václav Pelíšek extended the CeCe simulator by features crucial for IOD simulations: stochastic reactions, cell-cell communication and agglutination.
  • Hynek Kasl found, prepared and explained the models used by the simulator for their implementation.

Advisors

  • Jíří Fatka is the original author of the CeCe simulator. He helped with understanding of the simulator architecture and extensions implementation.

Wiki Page

Those who make this awesome wiki:

Responsible students

  • Václav Pelíšek did all work on coding wiki design into HTML and CSS.

Advisors

  • Jiří Fatka was helpful in solving some complex HTML and CSS problems.

Human Practice

Responsible students

  • Anna Sosnová is coordinator of collaboration with team Chalmers Gothenburg. She is responsible for collecting surveys and author of the interview.
  • Veronika Kolejáková is co-author the interview.
  • Hynek Kasl made the presentation for the Enginners.

Interlab study

Responsible students

  • Anna Sosnová is the responsible for performing the Interlab study including construction of devices, measurements and processing of data.
  • Hynek Kasl and Václav Pelíšek assisted during the experimets.
  • Jan Bejvl assisted with the data processing

Advisors

  • Kateřina Pěchotová taught students how to operate with measurement devices.
  • Pavel Zach supervised the experiments.
