The Whole Team



Our team is made up with 19 undergrads, postgraduate and high school students. Though we range in age from 16-year-old high school student to 23-year-old postgraduate, the great enthusiasm and efforts lead us to know more about synthetic biology in every day. Additionally, we always discuss and solve the problems together, which in return make us a more united group. Devoting our passion and sweat, this iGEM summer has become a meaningful and colorful journey for everyone in here.

Team Members

Yue Liu is a postgraduate majoring in Biological Engineering. She is the advisor of our team. She helped us solve the problem together and shared her iGEM experience with us.”Miracles sometimes occur, but one has to work terribly for them. ”

Wei Ling is a junior majoring in pharmaceutical engineering. He is our leader and his work involves all of parts. “Man can succeed at almost anything for which he has unlimited enthusiasm.”

Yi Jiao is a junior majoring in pharmaceutical engineering. He mainly worked on the experiment part.”There is only one god and his name is death. And there is only one thing we say to death ’not today’.”

Hui Yang is a sophomore majoring in pharmaceutical engineering. She mainly worked on the experiment part. ”Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well, so iGEM is, so life is.”

Qucheng Lin is a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering and technology. He mainly worked on the experiment part. ”The glory of life lies in never falling, but in keeping on fighting.”

Jiamei Zhang is a junior majoring in pharmaceutical engineering. She mainly worked on the wiki part and leaded the wiki group.”Someone is not as long as he is seeking something. Someone is not old until regrets take the place of dreams. To me, that is iGEM.”
Yufei Xie is a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering and technology. He mainly worked on the wiki part.”Action is the proper fruit of knowledge.”

 Yanan Hou is a Junior majoring in pharmaceutical engineering. She mainly worked on the wiki part. “Since the choice of the distance, they only trials and hardships.”
Tianyu Li is a sophomore majoring in biological engineering. She mainly worked on the wiki part and designed our team uniform and souvenirs.She believes that “However long the night, the dawn will break.”

 Sijia Xiao is a sophomore majoring in biological engineering, who is one of the principals in wiki construction. “Igem is going to be the power to promote scientific innovation and it is my pleasure to witness and participate in the great revolution.”

Wenjie Liao is a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering and technology. He mainly work on the modeling part. ”Codes gives me confidence.”

Bofeng Zhang is a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering and technology. He mainly work on the modeling part. ”Modeling has infinite possibilities”
Jiabei Li is a sophomore majoring in pharmacy. She mainly worked on the modeling part.”iGEM is an amazing competition which opens a door of science to us. I believe whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well. Thanks for every teammate and all that iGEM gives to me.”

Baode Sun is a phD candidate majoring in biological engineering. He mainly worked on the experiment part and leaded the experiment group. “Joys of the experiments is in the detail.”

Xinzi He is a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering and technology. She mainly worked on the Human Practice part.”The best part of iGEM is creating brand-new things. I'd like to disseminate this amazing iGEM experience to every corner of China.”

Fan Zhang is Sophomore majoring in animation. She is our artist. ”Bacterium gives me lots of inspirations.”

Junxin Cheng is a high school student in Tianjin Yaohua High School. He mainly worked on Human Practice. Experience in iGEM totally broaden his horizon.”Where there is a will there is a way.”
